First Week Out

It's about time I started talking about my summer. Things have just come up. I've started my sociology class at miramar, I hit Jake in the eye with a basketball, I've seen Mr. Pilakowski in basketball shorts (and he felt sorry that I had to request my transcript at school), I saw Katie Davis at LA fitness, Stephanie and Jackie are now members of LA fitness, I went to Scripps's graduation, I had fun at the breakfast, I hung out with Nicole Larson and Sarah Vidakovich, I went to the Del Mar Fair, I didn't win a car at Serra High School, and I finally got my license plates for my car. I think I'll start posting some photos soon.

Cheyenne!

The pictures on the rides at Del Mar Fair. Goodness!

School Days

"I'd risk the fall, just to know how it feels to fly..."

It is extremely difficult to allow oneself to embrace mistakes in order to get to the ultimate destination. I don't know if I have ever been put in a position where this were to happen. If I ever do, “If I fly with the wings of dawn and alight beyond the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand hold me fast.” (Psalm 139: 9-10). That's would be the perfect way to fly. I love the independence and the freedom felt while know there is something always there to protect me. Just like my family. I guess, maybe I'm also afraid of birds because there is that element to flying off; and yet, that is what intrigues me about them. The fact that that goal can me reached, going out there and just doing it. Going wherever life leads you. Feeling the wind all around me and know that presence is there is so powerful. Just know that it's there.

Haha, all this from an Alicia Keys quote from Eric Trieu's facebook and how I would like flying as my superpower if I got to pick one. Oh dear.

Staying up Late

I can't believe it's already 2:24 pm! It's June 10th and I'm a senior. We don't really have any homework but I'm up.

Let's take a look at what I did today.

After I took my after school nap I finally printed out my photo for my graduation invites. Too bad we can only bring 7 people while I need 7 million tickets.

Then I went to the gym, did Body Works plus Abs, and headed on over to Sarah's house. I stayed for about an hour watching I Love You Man. Picked Travor up from his play, spent some time fussing over graduation invites, and then made the Mexico/USA photo of Stephanie and Jake. I only made it after playing around on picnik while trying to make Kryton's clipboard and fix his binder for the ASB exchange tomorrow this afternoon.

And then I changed my Google homepage to be that of my tree! Good night everyone, and don't forget to sleep tight.

Football

I can't believe I would actually make this. lol

Living in a Tree

I am long overdue with a current blog so here I am, after watching 2 hours of the Bachelorette, which I detested years ago but it's kinda a guitly pleasure. It all started with the end of the last season finale of the last Bachelor and I was hooked. And then I spent another 2 hours today watching something that is such a waste of time and so superficial but I keept staying on the couch. This show is something I would have loved when I was three and when I would always be heard saying, "How romantic...!" I think it's that same part of me that causes me to enjoy these things. And now I'm making a new post on my blog while I should be studying for my physio test. yikes!
This weekend was so intense! I was exhausted by the time it was done. A major part of this weekend was Di Dung's funeral. A mass on Friday and Sunday, the viewing on Saturday, and the actually funeral on Sunday. It was so sad to see someone so lovely step away from this life so early, but what happens happens. It's all in God's plan. Please pray for her family.

Victoria's graduation from Cathedral was this Saturday and I was lucky enough to go and take photos of her!

Then we went to BJ's in North County. It was my first time there and my first time driving on the freeway without anyone there with me.

That day I got to get closer with Nga. I took her to the graduation and at the ASB Banquet we had some time on the bench outside and we just talked and cried and talked and cried. It was some good heart-to-heart. <3

After school today I went to target to get a few things and then I found the cutest thing! I couldn't believe I spent $13 on what is essentially stickers for a wall but I do not regret it! I thought my mom would get pissed but she actually liked it and said the price was not bad. She even helped me put it up. It's taking the place of Sora, which I bought the first year I went to Comic-Con which would be July of 2006. Has that wall scroll really been up there for almost 4 years? It's about time to replace him. I never really played Kingdom Hearts, I just loved the animation and thought Sora was cute, and he looked like Tai from Digimon, my MAJOR cartoon crush. haha.

....and my sad bench. If anyone can draw a bench for me, please let me know!
